These products meet the U.S. EPA’s 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP) specifications and requirements for Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EAL) for marine applications where the lubricant may come into contact or interface with fresh or sea water.
EcoShield™ biodegradable lubricants are formulated to provide a long life cycle. Ecoshield™ fluids exceed the government criteria of being "readily biodegradable". Readily biodegradable is defined as an attribute of products that have a natural ability to biodegrade quickly and completely.
