Schaeffer's 132 Moly EP Engine Oil Treatment is one of the most versatile products in the Schaeffer's lineup — functioning as both a performance-enhancing oil treatment for engines in service and a purpose-built assembly lubricant for engine builds and rebuilds. Its advanced extreme pressure additive package, enhanced with Micron Moly® and Penetro®, penetrates into metal surfaces and reduces metal-to-metal contact across the highest-wear areas of any engine: bearings, valvetrain components, pistons, and piston rings. 

As an oil treatment:

• Increased compression — promotes better piston ring seal, recovering lost compression in worn engines
• Reduced oil consumption and blow-by — tighter ring seal means less oil migration past rings
• Frees sticking valves and lifters — penetrating moly chemistry loosens deposits and reduces stiction
• Reduced engine friction and wear on all critical bearing and sliding surfaces

As an assembly lube:

• Protects cam lobes, lifters, bearings, ring lands, and cylinder walls on first start
• Provides boundary lubrication before oil pressure is established — the most critical moment in any engine's life
• Stays in place during assembly — won't drip off vertical surfaces or evaporate before startup
