Schaeffer's 740 Synthetic Lube EP. GL-5. SAE 80W-140 (Extended Warranty Approved) (5-Gallons) is a premium gear lubricant. It is designed for those that require an approved lubricant for Eaton®, Fuller, Roadranger and Meritor (formally Rockwell International) extended warranties. It is:

• thermally stable,
• anti-wear,
• heavy duty,
• extreme pressure,
• multi-purpose,
• synthetic.

Added to the synthetic base fluids is a non-corrosive, multi-functional additive package.  This provides Synthetic Lube EP Gear Lubricant SAE 80W-140 with the strength to protect gears and bearings under a wide variety of operating conditions.  Schaeffer's Synthetic EP Lube is specially formulated for use in:

• all automotive gear drives,
• limited slip,
• posi-traction,
• high offset hypoid gear rear ends,
• differentials. 

Synthetic Lube EP E/A Gear Lubricant SAE 80W-140 meets and exceeds the following specifications and manufacturers requirements:
API Service Classifications: GL-5 and MT-1; United States Military Specifications: MIL-PRF-2105E, SAE J2360; Dana SHAES 256 Rev C and SHAES 429; Eaton Axle PS-037, PS-037, PS-163; Mack GO-J and GO-J Plus; Navistar TMS 6816; Meritor/Rockwell O-76B and O-80.
