Schaeffer's 274 Moly EP Synthetic Plus Grease NLGI #00, #0, #1 or #2 (35-lbs) 

Schaeffer's 274 Moly EP Synthetic Plus Grease is an aluminum complex, para-synthetic formulation with a molybdenum disulfide and solid lubricant package engineered for the severe demands of heavy-duty construction, mining, farming, automotive, and industrial equipment. In NLGI #00, it is pumpable to -45°F. Designed for centralized lube systems and automatic dispensing in the most extreme cold environments where harder grades would stall or fail to pump.

Moly disulfide has a natural affinity for metal, allowing the solid lubricant package to plate directly onto bearing and pin surfaces — creating a durable, tenacious film that remains protective under conditions that wash, pound, or squeeze conventional greases out of position. 

Performance properties:

• Excellent EP load-carrying capability — handles high shock loads and extreme operating pressures
• Excellent reversibility — retains grease-like consistency and stays in bearings during high-speed and shock-loading cycles
• Waterproof — resists water washout in wet, field, and muddy environments
• Excellent anti-wear — moly film reduces metal-to-metal contact on bearing and pin surfaces
• Rust and oxidation inhibiting characteristics — long-term protection between lube intervals
• Quickly lubricates metal surfaces — moly plates immediately on application

Meets Caterpillar's 3% molybdenum disulfide specification. For Cat's 5% moly spec, use 274M2. 

Moly EP Synthetic Plus Grease NLGI #00 is pumpable to -45ºF, NLGI #0 is pumpable to - 40ºF, NLGI #1 is pumpable to -20ºF and NLGI #2 is pumpable to -10ºF.
